At the heart of Pine Rivers are two majestic lake systems - Lake Samsonvale and the smaller Lake Kurwongbah. In the south, the Pine River meanders along the Shire's border.

This freshwater aquatic playground offers residents and visitors fresh water fishing, water skiing, sailing and canoeing as well as bushwalking, birdwatching and picnicking along the picturesque lake shores.

The North Pine Country Markets are on every Sunday and the first Friday evening of the month.

On Clear Mountain, you can enjoy spectacular views while you enjoy meals, weekend getaways or health retreats.

At Dakabin's Alma Park Zoo, visitors can stroll through magnificent gardens while watching exotic and native animals in natural settings.
